Laughing old man illustration

I saw a photo of this guy and just knew I had to draw his face as it is so expressional and happy. I drew this fairly quickly one Sunday and it hasn't turned out exactly as I would of hoped, I think some of the proportions are a little out so I may have to have another go.

Garden Sketches

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that when I returned home from work the sun was still shining and it was one of those glorious warm summer evenings, I decided to get my sketchbook out and go into the garden. I took a felt tip and a fine liner and just did a load of quick sketches of flowers and leaves.

I sometimes love drawing like this, not using a pencil so you can't erase any marks made and enjoying the freedom.

None of the drawings are masterpieces but I enjoyed drawing 

every one.

Shirt Designs

I've been starting to put together a little Self Promotion mail out recently, I've been drawing garments and including some of the patterns i've designed for companies such as ASOS and Topman etc. Here's a small example of a few of them.

Chocolate Packaging

I've been working on a fun job recently designing packaging for Chocolate Bars, yep that's right, chocolate, great job or what. I've just shared with you a little preview of some initial ideas for the patterns to go on the packaging. I'm looking forward to share the packaging when finished as I think they will look great.

moth pattern

I've had a little free time lately so have made a little repeat of some moths, I borrowed a book form the library all about Insects and there were some great photos in there to use as reference. I should start drawing more bugs I think.
